Apple Calendar Integration

With the ICS calendar integration, you can integrate your pickup dates directly as a calendar subscription in the Apple Calendar app – on iPhone, iPad and Mac. The calendar updates automatically as soon as new dates are available.

1. Check address

Visit the müll.io homepage and enter your address. Make sure your address is recognized and the pickup dates are displayed correctly. müll.io.

2. Compose ICS subscription URL

The ICS URL contains your address as query parameters. Replace the placeholders with your actual address data:

https://müll.io/api/ics?street=Musterstra%C3%9Fe&houseNumber=1&zip=12345&city=Musterstadt&country=DE
Umlauts and special characters in the street must be URL-encoded (e.g. ü → %C3%BC, ß → %C3%9F).

3. Subscribe in Apple Calendar app

Mac

  1. Öffne die Kalender-App.
  2. Klicke im Menü auf Ablage → Neues Kalenderabonnement…
  3. Füge deine ICS-URL aus Schritt 2 ein und klicke auf „Abonnieren".
  4. Gib dem Kalender einen Namen (z. B. „Müllabfuhr") und wähle ein Aktualisierungsintervall – empfohlen: täglich.
  5. Klicke auf OK.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Öffne Einstellungen → Kalender → Accounts → Account hinzufügen.
  2. Wähle „Andere" und dann „Kalenderabo hinzufügen".
  3. Füge deine ICS-URL aus Schritt 2 ein und tippe auf „Weiter".
  4. Bestätige mit „Sichern".

The calendar is then automatically synchronized. Via iCloud, the subscription is transferred to all connected Apple devices.
